A love for celebrating, from the very beginning.
You could almost say I was born into the world of florals, celebrations and small business.
As a second-generation florist, some of my earliest memories are surrounded by flowers. My incredibly talented mum has been a florist for more than 35 years and ran her own small business, so growing up, the florist shop became a second home. My grandma was often there too, working alongside Mum, making it a place filled with family as much as it was flowers.
From the beautiful everyday moments to the organised chaos of Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas and Easter, I had a front-row seat to the creativity of floristry and the care, hard work and dedication that goes into creating something of your own.
As I grew older, I became more involved in the business—preparing flowers during busy occasions, helping with displays and merchandising, and joining Mum on wedding and event setups. Those days took me to some of the most beautiful venues across South East Queensland, where I was able to see firsthand how florals, styling and all the little details could completely transform a space for a celebration.
Those early experiences shaped so much of what I came to love about weddings and events—the creativity, the beautiful details, the people and the magic of seeing everything come together. Looking back, they were the beginning of a passion that would eventually grow into a career I feel incredibly lucky to have.

By the time I reached high school, my love for weddings and events had grown into something I knew I wanted to pursue. I undertook a school-based traineeship, working behind the scenes across event setups, pack-downs and styling, while beginning to understand the organisation, logistics and teamwork required to bring an event seamlessly together.
From there, my career continued to grow through hospitality, floristry, wedding coordination and event management. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to experience the industry from so many different perspectives—from creating florals and styling spaces to coordinating weddings, managing events and overseeing all the moving pieces happening behind the scenes.
One of the greatest privileges of that journey has been the people I’ve met along the way. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented industry professionals, learn from wonderful mentors and leaders, and be part of teams that have generously shared their knowledge and experience with me.
Those people and experiences have shaped so much of who I am today—not only creatively and professionally, but in the way I approach people, service and the responsibility that comes with being trusted with someone’s most meaningful moments.

Along the way, I also completed my floristry qualifications, continuing a craft that has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
More than a decade later, I feel incredibly grateful for every role, mentor, venue, celebration and experience that has shaped my journey—and ultimately brought all of those different pieces together in LoveLane.

LoveLane is the culmination of so many things I’ve loved throughout my life and career—beautiful celebrations, thoughtful planning, florals, design, people and the little details that make an experience feel truly personal.
Today, alongside Jake and our wonderful team, I’m incredibly proud to be growing LoveLane into a wedding and events studio built around thoughtful service, beautiful design and genuinely memorable experiences.
My approach has always been a balance of creativity and organisation. One moment I might be dreaming up a floral installation or refining the details of a tablescape; the next, I’m reviewing a timeline, liaising with suppliers or finding a solution to something happening behind the scenes.
To me, the two belong together.
Because a beautiful celebration shouldn’t only look incredible. It should feel incredible to experience.
I want every LoveLane client to feel genuinely supported throughout the journey, confident that every detail is being thoughtfully considered and completely free to be present when their celebration finally arrives.
Looking back, there’s something incredibly special about knowing that the world I grew up in—flowers, creativity, celebrations, people and small business—has found its way into what I’ve created today with LoveLane.
And even after all these years, there’s still nothing quite like that quiet moment before guests arrive—placing the final floral stem, lighting the last candle and standing back to see months of ideas finally brought to life.
That feeling never gets old.
